<< Last week’s software sales chart

Last week didn’t see any real high-profile releases in Japan. Lost Heroes, Namco Bandai’s Gundam + Kamen Rider + Ultra Man crossover dungeon-crawler, was the best-selling new game for the week. The Nintendo 3DS version took the #2 spot at 32,504 copies, while the PSP version came in at #6 with 15,650 copies sold.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 returned to the top of the chart as the #1 seller.

Meanwhile, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva f fell from its #1 spot last week to #5 this week, dropping 88.4% in sales. For comparison, last year’s Project Diva Extend dropped 83.7% and 2010’s Project Diva 2nd dropped 85% in their second weeks.

PlayStation Vita sales dropped by a large margin, too. Last week, the Vita sold 50,070 units, whereas this week, the system’s sales dropped to 14,106 . This actually makes sense, as Media Create reported that 23,000 of last week’s Vita hardware sales came from a Hatsune Miku: Project f Crystal White Vita bundle.
