Last week saw the release of Sony’s Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines for the PlayStation Vita. The game sold 93,775 copies in its first week and debuted at the #2 spot on the top-20 software sales chart.
The original Oreshika was released on PlayStation One, and then remade for PSP in 2011. The PSP version sold 94,085 copies at launch, so things haven’t changed much between then and now in terms of the franchise’s reach, with launch sales of both Oreshika and Tainted Bloodlines being nearly identical.
Meanwhile, Yo-kai Watch 2 was the #1 game for the week again, selling an addition 331,946 copies. The game is now at 1,648,653 copies sold, and should work its way up to 2 million fairly quickly.
Also released last week was Gust’s Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea. It debuted with 43,744 copies sold. Finally, Bandai Namco’s Gundam TriAge SP card game made it out as well, selling 21,524 copies.
