Last week saw a fair number of new releases in Japan, although once again, most of them failed to sell significant numbers in their first week. Claiming the #1 was Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, with 89,468 copies sold on PlayStation 3. This is a follow-up to Persona 4 Arena with additional characters and features.

Following it at #2 was Toukiden Extreme, an updated version of Toukiden. This game sold 79,384 copies on Vita and the PSP version charted further down at the #9 spot, selling another 11,026 copies.

Also released last week were Neptunia U for Vita and Medabots 8 for the 3DS. Both games sold a little under 35,000 copies.
