Last week, Japan had several new releases with 12 out of 20 of the chart being new titles, including One Piece: Burning Blood, Bullet Girls 2, Star Fox Zero, and many more. Media Create provides us with software and hardware sales data from the week of April 18 through April 24, 2016.

To start things off, One Piece: Burning Blood took the top two spots with the PS4 version having sold 35,496 copies and the PS Vita version with 32,682 for a combined total of 68,178 copies. These are decent numbers for a new brawler title, but not quite as high as the Pirate Warriors games, which sold 97,362 copies on PS3 alone in its debut for Pirate Warriors 3 (for a total of 198,363 copies with 54,308 copies on PS Vita and 46,693 on PS4).

At #3, we have Bullet Girls 2 with 17,224 copies sold in its launch week on PS Vita. This is much lower than the 29,690 its predecessor sold on its debut. At #5 there’s Star Fox Zero/StarFox Guard’s double pack that sold 17,114 copies and the standalone Star Fox Zero took #8 with 8,135 copies on Wii U for a combined total of 25,249. Similar to the Metroid games, Star Fox was never that big of a seller in Japan.

Terraria made its 3DS debut in Japan with 7,251 copies sold to take the #10 spot. Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode 4 Deluxe Package placed #7 with 14,950 copies sold on PS4 and 7,043 copies on PS Vita which placed #11 for 21,993 copies sold across both platforms.

As far as other new releases go, there was Nil Admirari no Tenbin: Teiuto Genwaku Kitan at #12 with 6,987 copies sold on PS Vita, Dying Light: The Following at #13 with 6,476 copies sold on PS4, UEFA EURO 2016 Pro Evolution Soccer at #17 with 5,094 copies sold on PS4, and Kamigami no Asobi InFinite at #18 with 4,828 copies sold for PS Vita.

There weren’t any noteworthy mentions as far as hardware sales go, which remained pretty close to the figures we saw the week prior.
