Last week, Japan didn’t get any exciting new releases but it did get Dragon Quest X’s All-In-One Package version and Dragon’s Dogma Online’s Season 3 Limited Edition on PS4. Japanese sales tracker Media Create shared the latest on software and hardware sales data from the week of August 14 through August 20, 2017.

The Snack World may have snagged the #2 spot last week, but the top-2 are back to Dragon Quest XI on 3DS and PS4. The 3DS version sold 67,705 copies last week for a total of 1,640,920 copies, and the PS4 version sold 49,543 in the week with a total of 1,291,802. This puts Dragon Quest XI at a combined total of 2,932,722. The 3 million milestone is right around the corner, but there’s no guarantee if it’ll make it on time for next week’s report.

Splatoon 2 is back to #3 with 34,108 copies sold for Nintendo Switch. Meanwhile, The Snack World charted at #4 in its second week with 25,674 copies, putting it into the six-digit territory.

Dragon Quest X: All-in-One Package featuring all expansions on PS4 released and charted at #5 with 14,052 units sold. Dragon’s Dogma Online – Season 3 Limited Edition also made its debut with 4,590 units sold on PS4 at #18.

As far as hardware sales go, it looks like retailers are back to a shorter supply of Nintendo Switch consoles, which managed to sell 22,277 units in the week. Going by Media Create’s figures, the Nintendo Switch has sold 1,457,307 units in Japan since its March launch.
