5.4 Genshin Impact Release Date Falls in February

HoYoVerse shared the 5.4 Genshin Impact release date alongside news about the update, which will also feature a banner with a new character named Yumemizuki Mizuki and the return of the festival events in Inazuma. We’ll see everything appear on February 12, 2025.

Rather than this being a big update focused on a new story, 5.4 is more about the Genshin Impact Inazuma festival and new events. This time, it is the Mikawa Flower Festival. We’ve heard it come up in past updates during this time of year. Mizuki will be a part, as will Raiden Shogun and other characters from the region. Multiple minigames will be playable there, like Akitsu Harpastum, Bunshin Phantasm, and A Little Fox’s Daydream. It will also be how you earn the Tamayuratei no Ohanashi polearm.

As for the character banners in Genshin Impact 5.4, Mizuki is the only new one. All of the others are returning characters. Mizuki is a five-star Anemo healer who uses a catalyst to attack. Her dedicated banner will be available at launch alongside a Sigewinne rerun banner. However, after that she’ll be on the Standard Wish and constantly in the five-star character pool. Meanwhile, halfway through the new version, banners with Furina and Wriothesley will show up. If you
