Aglaea Requires a Normal DPS Build in Honkai: Star Rail

Aglaea, a 5-star Lightning Remembrance character in Honkai: Star Rail, is a powerful and aggressive attacker who works in tandem with her Memosprite, the Garmentmaker. When you build Aglaea, you should prioritize Light Cones and Relics that not only improve her potential as a DPS, but also help her with the high Energy requirement for her Ultimate.

In battle, Aglaea has two main goals: activate her Ultimate, and use her Basic Attack as many times as possible before she needs to renew her “Supreme Stance” state. She’s a classic DPS, meaning that she wants to have as much ATK, Crit Rate, Crit DMG, and SPD as possible. You should also make sure she has an Energy Regeneration Rate Rope, as she has a high Maximum Energy for her Ultimate.

When building Aglaea, you can afford to have less Crit DMG, since a lot of her optimal supports will buff that. Focus instead on her SPD, ATK, and her Crit Rate. You should give her a minimum of 134 SPD so she can hit that breakpoint. If you’re running her with Sunday, you need to tune her with Sunday. That usually means having 1 SPD more than him. So if Sunday has, say, 140 SPD, then Aglaea should have 141. However, if you built your Sunday to have 160 SPD, you don’t need to do anything with Aglaea. This is ideal, as you can now give her more ATK or Crit stats.

Here are the best Light Cones for your Aglaea build in Honkai: Star Rail

  • Time Woven into Gold
As Aglaea’s signature Light Cone, this is obviously her best-in-slot. With this Light Cone, she gains Brocade stacks every time she and the Garmentmaker attack. It increases her SPD, as well as lets her deal more Crit DMG and Basic ATK DMG depending on how many Brocade stacks she has.
  • Sweat Now, Cry less
Sweat Now, Cry Less is a 4-star Light Cone you can get from the Nameless Honor BP. This means you can guarantee getting it, albeit at the cost of real-world money. This is a good Light Cone, though, as it increases the wearer’s Crit Rate. It also increases how much DMG they and their Memosprite deal when the Memosprite is on the field, which works well with how Aglaea plays.
  • Geniuses’ Greetings
Geniuses’ Greetings is a good Light Cone if you don’t have the other two. It increases Aglaea’s ATK, as well as how much Basic ATK DMG she and her Memosprite deal for three turns after they use she uses her Ultimate. If you don’t have Time Woven into Gold, and you don’t want to pay money for Sweat Now, Cry Less, then this is the best Light Cone to give her.

Here are the best Relics for Aglaea

  • 4-pc Hero of Triumphant Song
Hero of Triumphant Song is the best Relic Set for your Aglaea build in Honkai: Star Rail. Not only does it increase her ATK, but it also increases her SPD when she has her Memosprite on the field. As well, it increases her and her Garmentmaker’s Crit DMG by an impressive 30% whenever her Garmentmaker attacks.
  • 4-pc Musketeer of Wild Wheat
Since both Aglaea and the Hero Set above came out in Version 3.0, some people may not have a lot of good pieces for her. In that case, you can make do with Musketeer. Musketeer increases her ATK, SPD, and Basic ATK DMG, which are all useful things for her kit. Since Musketeer has been around since launch, most people should have a lot of pieces for it, unless they scrapped them all.
  • The Wondrous BananAmusement Park
The Wondrous BananAmusement Park is a Planar Ornament Set that’s geared towards Remembrance units, since it has an additional effect based on whether or not the wearer has summon on the field. Not only does this Set increase Aglaea’s Crit DMG, but it also gives her an additional boost when she has her Memosprite out. As Aglaea should always have Garmentmaker with her, she can always take full advantage of this Planar Ornament.
  • Firmament Frontline Glamoth
If you can’t put together a Wondrous BananAmusement Park Set, you can always use Firmament Frontline Glamoth. This Set increases Aglaea’s ATK, as well as lets her deal more DMG based on her SPD. She should have at least 134-ish SPD anyway, so she can definitely get that 12% DMG bonus. You can also consider Rutilant Arena, which increases Basic ATK DMG based on Crit Rate.

Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. You can only pull for Aglaea when the “Tailored Fate” banner is active.
