The stars have aligned and Aksys, publisher of BlazBlue and Guilty Gear games, are working with Jupiter, the developer of The World Ends With You and Picross 3D.
Jupiter has been releasing DSiWare games on their own since late last year. The first one, Kyoto College Students Taishi Higashida Puzzles To Think About, has players link up shapes without crossing lines. Aksys gave the game a simpler name – Don’t Cross The Line and Nintendo put it on DSiWare today. You can get the game for 200 DSiWare Points ($2).
Perhaps, Aksys will pick up Jupiter’s other DSiWare game, which stars a panda wearing a space helmet. In Panewa! players connect colored blocks to make them vanish. The area matching component sort of reminds me of Yosumin, but you don’t need to make an even rectangle in Panewa!
