There are many ways to get around in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Obviously, fast travel points will instantly deliver you to most central locations on the island. However, actually navigating the various spaces in each biome- even accessing areas you wouldn’t normally be able to reach yet- is a different story. Swimming, climbing, and using your balloons to glide around all contribute to early-game exploration. Included in this list of tools are the island’s Ziplines. Ziplines may not seem particularly useful at first, but they’re a great way to reach new biomes without completing some of Island Adventure’s other quests. Below is a quick explanation of all Hello Kitty Island Adventure Zipline Locations.
All Hello Kitty Island Adventure Zipline Locations
Seaside Resort to Spooky Swamp Zipline
Before the Ziplines are of any use to you, you’ll need to unlock the recipe for Sparks. Thankfully, this is part of the “A Zipline Adventure” quest. Follow along with our guide on How to Fix and Use Hello Kitty Island Adventure Ziplines to get everything you need. Naturally, the first Zipline you can find in Hello Kitty Island Adventure is connected to “A Zipline Adventure.” Completing this quest requires activating the Seaside Resort Zipline. You can find it just to the right of Visitor Cabin 4 in the Seaside Resort biome. If you’re having trouble finding it, the image below will help. This Zipline only requires one Spark to repair, and connects to the Spooky Swamp biome.
Spooky Swamp to Gemstone Mountain Zipline
Each biome on the island has at least one Zipline connection, and it’s possible to travel from one end of the island to the other via Zipline. From the Spooky Swamp Zipline, walk along the top of the cliffside, being careful not to fall into the water as you do. Alternatively, you can follow the stone path leading through the Spooky Swamp’s village. In either case, head to the North of the biome, until you reach its Northwest corner. The next Zipline is just above the Northwest chunk of the Ghost Tour Ride tracks. You can use the map below to orient yourself. This Zipline will cost you two Sparks to repair. Once you do, interact with the lever again to ride it all the way down to Gemstone Mountain!
Gemstone Mountain to Mount Hothead Zipline
The next Zipline requires quite a long trek across the mountain, but is arguably the easiest to reach. The Spooky Swamp Zipline will deposit you right in front of Gemstone Mountain’s Visitor Cabin One. Follow the dirt path North until you reach Gemstone Town. There should be a fast travel point you can activate here. From the fast travel point, head West on the dirt path and continue following it as it curves to the North and turns into wooden steps. There should be yet another fast travel point here! Continue going North, taking the right-hand path at the fork. Climb up both sets of ladders, and follow the path to the West. A final fast travel point will be on this path. The Gemstone Mountain Zipline is at the end of the path, overlooking the Oasis area you just walked past. This Zipline needs three Sparks to repair. Fixing it will allow you to travel all the way to Mount Hothead!
Tips for Fixing and Using Ziplines in Hello Kitty Island Adventure
Unfortunately, there isn’t a Zipline connecting Mount Hothead to the Seaside Resort. In other words, your wonderful Zipline adventures end here. Ziplines work in both directions, so it’s possible to retrace your steps and get back to Seaside Resort this way! Here’s a tip: each Zipline has an achievement associated with its repair. These achievements reward you with one Spark each. Sparks aren’t used for much else besides repairing Ziplines this early in the game, so the Zipline achievements effectively reduce the cost of repairing each Zipline by one!
Ziplines are great for accessing the biomes very early in your adventure, but become a little less important once you obtain a pair of Flippers. Learning How to Get the Hello Kitty Island Adventure Flippers and Unlock Swimming will make getting around much easier. Sparks are made from Light Stones, which you can only get by giving Kuromi gifts. If you’re short on Light Stones for whatever reason, you’ll have to wait for the day to reset in Hello Kitty Island Adventurebefore you can get more.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure is available now on iOS, Apple Arcade, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
