Now that the streaming service is fine with weekly episodes, rather than binges, more series are popping up here every season. Alongside the return of existing series like Dragon Ball Daima, there are also some new anime series you can watch this season on Netflix.

Our Netflix Winter 2025 Recommendations

I would argue that at least half of the new Winter 2025 anime series available on Netflix are among the best anime of the entire season. Both Sakamoto Days and My Happy Marriage Season 2 are must-watch series this season. The former tells the story of a retired hitman that runs a convenience store, but his former colleagues come back to hunt him down. It is far more comedic and heartwarming than you might expect.

Then there is My Happy Marriage, which was my pick for the best anime of 2023. Its second season looks to further relationship between its two lead characters. If you adore romance or more serious series like Fruits Basket and Violet Evergarden, you should not miss out on this recent masterpiece.
