Anaxagoras Is Also a Honkai: Star Rail 5-Star Character for 3.2

HoYoVerse shared the next 3.2 character who will appear in Honkai: Star Rail, and it is Anaxagoras, who insists we shouldn’t call him Anaxa. He’s the Demised Scholar and Chrysos Heir who will be a five-star unit. 

His reveal and profile brought up a few details about the character. He’s from the Grove of Epiphany in Amphoreus and is one of the Seven Sages there. He’s an Erudition unit, like Argenti, The Herta, and Jing Yuan, which means he’ll focus on dealing AOE damage to a group. That will be Wind-elemental damage.

Here’s his full profile from social media. The Honkai: Star Rail announcement featured commentary from the “character,” which showed that he values direct communication, silence, and being called by Anaxagoras and not the nickname Anaxa.

This is the second 3.2 Honkai: Star Rail character HoYoVerse revealed. The first was Castorice. Unlike Anaxagoras, she played a pretty notable supporting role in the 3.0 Trailblaze Mission. She’s a Remembrance character who deals Quantum damage. She’s also going to be a five-star unit.

Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the Special Program for 3.1 airs at 3:30am PT/6:30am ET on February 14, 2025. 3.1 is expected to launch on February 26, 2025, and we aren’t sure when 3.2 will arrive yet.
