If you want to do pretty much anything regarding synthesizing and recipes in Atelier Yumia, you are going to need particles. This is why it is crucial you figure out the best location for particle farming in Atelier Yumia if you want to succeed.

What Particles Are Used for

Particles are the resources that you will use to learn new recipes that you can then synthesize through your alchemy. In addition, you can also use particles to upgrade your existing recipes. This is going to be a requirement for some story and optional quests. In addition, it is also essential if you want to have solid gear.

This is because the best way to get good gear is to upgrade the existing weapon and armor recipes you have. But to do all of these activities, you will need the various types of particles. Unfortunately, they are not too easy to come by.

Best Location for Particle Farming in Atelier Yumia

You can find particles in mana geysers throughout the world in Atelier Yumia of the four main types. So, the best spot for you is going to be the place where mana geysers are often found and in a good cluster of them. There are a couple of spots like this throughout the four regions in the game. However, there is one that is better than all of them.

I have to give some credit to YouTuber Primalliquid for finding this. Note that this location is in the fourth and final region in the game, so there are going to be spoilers abound. That said, you don’t really need particles to do well up until this point anyways. Where you want to go is the location in the above map screenshot. Fast travel to the Walkway of Cheers, then you want to start at the tree where the first mana geyser is south of here, and then head along the way until you reach the Grand Theater. Rinse and repeat and you’re good to go.

Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is now available for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
