Sugardew Island is a farming sim, so it is all about growing various crops to profit and make money. Like any farming sim, the best crops in Sugardew Island are worth growing since they will give you the most effective profit when compared to the cost to buy the seeds and how long to grow it.
Best Crops and Seeds to Grow in Sugardew Island
You are going to be farming a lot in this particular cozy game, so it is best to start early with the best crops that are the most valuable and profitable for you. As with most games like this, you need to buy seeds to be able to grow various goods. You ca get seeds from Tomte just northwest of your home.
When it comes to the best seeds to get and grow, it comes down to two main options. For those players who are just starting out and don’t have a ton of money yet, wheat seeds are going to be your best bet. They are extremely cheap, give a decent enough profit, and they grow in only two days so you are constantly making money.
Beyond wheat, the other main option I suggest is corn. While it is considerably more expensive than most seeds, it only grows in three days, and it has great profit as well. But the best part is corn is one of the only crops that can produce food multiple times in a row without having to get more seeds. So, it is true bang for your buck.
How to Sell Your Crops
Unlike other farming sim games, Sugardew Island doesn’t make selling crops the easiest. You don’t just harvest them and put them in a box. Instead, you have to go to your shop on the eastern side of your residence.
There, you can open up your store once per day. You have to restock it daily as well with whatever items you have. Then you can sell to customers or haggle them for better prices to make Sugardew cash.
Sugardew Island is available right now for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
