Valentine’s Day can be a tricky holiday of the year. For some, it might be a wonderful time with a new or long-loved partner. For others, though, it might be a reminder of being single and thriving. Regardless, there are still some incredible games on PS4 that are best played single or with a partner on Valentine’s Day 2025.

Hasbro Family Fun Pack

If you like to save money and spend time with your partner, this is the package to get. It comes with a whopping four board games-turned-video games in one. I am especially a fan of Scrabble and Monopoly myself. While you could play board games physically in person, these digital video game versions are fantastic, too.

Monopoly, for instance, plays exactly as you would expect with numerous players available. You could even throw a Valentine’s Day party if you’d like and have couple versus couple. The best part, though, is you don’t have any of the hassle and mess of the physical games, while still retaining the enjoyment, strategy, and inevitable disagreements.

Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley is the type of game I would recommend to anyone on Valentine’s Day. Don’t have a date or significant other? No problem, as there are plenty of wonderful NPCs to meet, woo, and date here. Do have a partner? You can actually play this wonderfully deep farming sim together. In fact, you can even marry one another in-game, which is a nice way to spend this holiday.

It Takes Two

What better way to spend this romantic holiday with your significant than playing a platforming game about a struggling marriage? It is a ridiculous premise that plays out like a stunning, interactive Pixar film. The different worlds and levels vary greatly, constantly requiring two players to play side-by-side and work together. I would argue there is almost no better couch co-op game I’ve played, so this is a wonderful way to spend a Valentine’s evening together.
