Stardew Valley features many NPCs for you to discover, some of which are quite the challenge. One such NPC is the Bookseller, which is not available most of the time. That said, you will want to find the Bookseller whenever possible since you can find some of the best books in Stardew Valley this way.

How to Find the Bookseller

The Bookseller is a rather unique NPC that runs a bookstore that you can visit in the world. Unlike other NPCs, you are only able to find the Bookseller twice a month every season. To make matters worse, the days that the Bookseller is available is completely random each season. But the two dates will be picked from among the following options:

• Spring: 11, 12, 21, 22, and 25
• Summer: 9, 12, 18, 25, and 27
• Fall: 4, 7, 8, 9, 12, 19, 22, and 25
• Winter: 5, 11, 12, 19, 22, and 24

What you want to do each season is look at your calendar for a balloon symbol on two of the above dates. That will indicate when the Bookseller is coming to town. You can find the Bookseller selling his wares on the eastern side of the town, just north of JojaMart.

• Price Catalogue: 3,000g. This book lets you see the total value of every item you have anytime.
