Each Age features different Wonders that can be beneficial to your civilization and path to victory. Here are the best Wonders in every age in Civ VII that are worth considering for their exceptional benefits.

Best Age of Antiquity Wonders in Civilization VII

When it comes to Wonders, the main idea is you have two types: natural ones and man-made ones. The former requires you to find it in the world and build your town around it. The latter, though, requires you to build it yourself in your city. When it comes to the best Wonders in the Age of Antiquity, it is a mix of both that I recommend:

  • Grand Canyon: Natural Wonder
  • Great Barrier Reef: Natural Wonder
  • Valley of Flowers: Natural Wonder
  • Colossus: Wonder
  • Haa’monga ‘a Maui: Wonder
  • Terracotta Army: Wonder

Best Age of Exploration Wonders

The Age of Exploration features its own set of Wonders for you to build in the world. When it comes to creating a civilization to dominate this middle era of a match, here are the ones I recommend to most players:

  • El Escorial: Wonder
  • Forbidden City: Wonder
  • House of Wisdom: Wonder
  • Machu Pikchu: Wonder
  • Notre Dame: Wonder

Best Modern Age Wonders

The Modern Age may be the final Age in Civ VII, but it also includes some of the best Wonders for you to build. For this one, I am going to focus on the Wonders that are generally exclusive to this particular Age and that you should consider creating if you want to set yourself up for a potential match victory:

  • Chengde Mountain Resort: Wonder
  • Dogo Onsen: Wonder
  • Eiffel Tower: Wonder
  • Oxford University: Wonder
  • Taj Mahal: Wonder

Civilization VII is available right now for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
