Capcom was founded in June 1983, and this week on June 11th, 2013, they’ll begin celebrating their 30th anniversary. The focal point of their 30th anniversary celebration will be a new website which will be updated with content in the days to come.

One of the features that’s already available on the site is the ability to send Capcom a message, which will be published on the front page. Other site features that will be added will include messages from Capcom’s management, information on the company’s history and more.

Capcom are planning events in Japan as well. They’ll be holding a commemorative exhibition at the “Huis Ten Bosch” theme park in Nagasaki prefecture, and will also be holding events at various Capcom arcades.

Games are part of the 30th anniversary celebration, too. The Capcom Arcade Cabinet set of downloadable arcade titles is one such example that is already available. Capcom say other commemorative games will be provided in the future, and that their social and online games will incorporate 30th anniversary events as well. You can find more information here.
