Good Smile Company has opened global pre-orders for its new Moderoid plastic model kits of the Evangelion Unit-02 and Mark.06. The kits are available separately on both the company’s Japanese international and North America-exclusive storefronts with the same price tags of ¥3,900 / $23.99.

These model kits will be based on the units piloted by Asuka Shikinami Langley and Kaworu Nagisa in the Rebuild of Evangelion movie series. To be more specific, the exact title will be the second entry, Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance.

Both kits will stand at around 165mm (~6.5 inches) tall when completed. The Evangelion Unit-02 kit will come with a Progressive Knife and a Super-Electromagnetic Crossbow, while the Mark.06 kit will include the Spear of Cassius.

The new releases will help complement Shinji Ikari’s Evangelion Unit-01, which was the franchise’s first unit in the Moderoid line. Good Smile Company released the original Unit-01 model kit in May 2023 and a metallic version in January 2024.

The Moderoid kit of Asuka’s Evangelion Unit-02 will appear first in Japan in September 2025, with Kaworu’s Evangelion Mark.06 following suit a month later in October 2025. Both kits are slated to appear in North America in Q1 2026. Good Smile Company will close the pre-order window for both products simultaneously on March 26, 2025.
