Fatal Fury CotW Kain and Season Pass 1 Characters Revealed

SNK has revealed more playable characters coming to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves both at and after launch, which includes Kain R. Heinlein. The company has also published many trailers related to the new announcements on its YouTube channel.

Kain R. Heinlein will be one of the characters available at launch in City of the Wolves. The Japanese voiceover trailer reveals how Yuichi Nakamura voices the character:

An English version of the same trailer is also available simultaneously. It reveals Brett Calo as the English voice actor for the same character.

Kain will also appear as one of the eight characters available in the Open Beta Test for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. People worldwide will be able to play an earlier build of the game before its release from February 20 until February 24, 2025, in Pacific Standard Time, or February 25, 2025, for the rest of the world.

The other seven characters available in the Open Beta Test besides Kain will be Mai Shiranui, Rock Howard, Terry Bogard, B. Jenet, Hotaru Futaba, Preecha, and Vox Reaper.

SNK has also revealed the full Season Pass 1 DLC character roster. The company had previously announced at Tokyo Game Show 2024 that it would add Ken and Chun-Li from Street Fighter 6 in Summer 2025 and Winter 2025, respectively. The remaining three characters newly revealed will be Andy Bogard in Summer 2025, Joe Higashi in Fall 2025, and Mr. Big in early 2026.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, and PC worldwide on April 24, 2025.
