FFXIV Letter From the Producer Live 85 Falls in February

It’s been quite some time since Square Enix held a FFXIV Letter from the Producer Live presentation, given the last one appeared in November 2024, but now LXXXV (85) will air at 3am PT/6am ET on February 7, 2025. As usual, this should feature Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida and Global Community Producer Toshio “Foxclon” Murouchi talking about what’s next for the MMORPG.

Don’t expect news about a new expansion at this one. Rather, it’s going to focus on additional updates to the Dawntrail series of patches. Square Enix confirmed it is all about 7.2. Specifically, it will focus on the first part of that patch. However, other updates related to the MMORPG, perhaps about merchandise events, could come up as well.

We don’t know how long this presentation will be. It will be on Niconico, Twitch, and YouTube as usual. The YouTube placeholder is actually live, and you can see it below. Note that when the presentation airs, there will be no translator. It will be entirely in Japanese, though all slides shown during the presentation and going over 7.2 part 1 will feature English text.
