FFXIV Main Scenario Writer Banri Oda Announced New Book

FFXIV Main Scenario Writer Banri Oda announced the release of a paperback edition of his latest book titled Wanderers in a Godless World. The paperback edition will cost 2,000 yen (or about $12.96) and its release date will be announced at a later date.

Banri Oda originally wrote the book as a personal hobby and described it as an amateur novel. The book originally released in Japan for Kindle on December 1, 2024 and is only available in Japanese so far. It also doesn’t seem like Oda has plans for a translation or overseas release.

Oda described on social media that Amazon will be in charge of the print of the paperback edition of Wanderers in a Godless World, and requested a test version to compare it to a self-printed version. Because of the printing costs of the paperback version of his novel, Oda also informed that the prize would increase from the 1,500 yen (~$9.72) that the Kindle version costs.

Wanderers in a Godless World is the recently released book penned by FFXIV Main Scenario Writer Banri Oda. The novel is now available via Kindle from Amazon Japan and a paperback edition will appear at a later date. Final Fantasy XIV is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
