Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition DLC Will Let You Play as Other FFCC Characters

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition has a new feature called “Mimic” that allows you to play as other characters from the series as DLC. Square Enix shared the latest screenshots and details. [Thanks, 4Gamer.]

Using the new Mimic feature, players will get to play as characters from previous Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles games. What it does is it simply changes the appearance and voice for a character during battles and cutscenes. The DLC to transform into the characters will become available after release in Japan.

It’s also worth noting that the playable DLC characters for Mimic are available to fixed races and genders. Check out the characters below:

The DLC characters will be available for 370 yen each or as part of the Mimic Set for 2,580 yen for all eight.

Additional DLC includes new weapons that you can’t find in the game and useful accessories that will help out on your adventure:

Weapons Special Set

The DLC weapon sets go for 490 yen each, or for 860 yen for a bundle of both sets.
