A Friend Joins Your Fight In The Beta For Hyper Light Drifter’s Local Co-Op Mode

A beta for Hyper Light Drifter’s co-op mode is now available, letting players bring in a friend if they’re finding the game a little too challenging. This beta will be open until Monday, May 2.

The beta is being done to test the mode (which had been previously cut due to time constraints) and get feedback, which will all be used when the game fully implements the mode at a later date.

Hyper Light Drifter is a highly challenging top-down action game where players work to help the Drifter find a way to calm the disease that wracks his body. They can find new equipment, weapons, and skills as they traverse a dark, detailed world filled with ruins, branching paths, and secrets.
