Game Center CX Has Its Take On Final Fantasy V Complete With A Job System

Instead of a collection of ROMs, the Retro Game Challenge or Game Center CX video game series as it is known in Japan has brand new retro games. Blood of the Dragon is one of the games inside Game Center CX and it brings back memories of Final Fantasy V.

You play as Ask, a hero tasked to find and defeat the root of evil to bring peace back to the world. It’s a standard RPG plot with a real time combat system and a job change system.

Developer G.rev made some changes like adding a time bar at the bottom of the screen where you can see everyone’s turns. Pretty impressive that there’s a full RPG within Game Center CX 3, which also has a shmup and a Crystalisinspired action RPG. Game Center CX 3 comes out on March 20 in Japan.
