Genshin Impact Xiangling Outfit and Event Detailed

HoYoVerse has provided more details on how to obtain the New Year’s Cheer outfit for Xiangling in Genshin Impact. Unlike the Cherries Snow-Laden outfit for Hu Tao, which is only available with Genesis Crystals (real-world money), you can obtain Xiangling’s outfit for free, albeit for a limited time.

As HoYoVerse previously shared when listing the Lantern Rite 2025 rewards in Genshin Impact, the Xiangling outfit is free when you complete a certain amount of quests during the “Springtime Charms” event. Like previous free event outfits, you’ll still be able to purchase it in the store after the event ends. However, you’ll need to shell out 1,680 Genesis Crystals to purchase it. This outfit does not provide any changes to Xiangling’s animations or effects.

The “Springtime Charms” event will have several phases, all starting on different dates. They are:

  • Phase I: January 24, 2025
  • Phase II: January 26, 2025
  • Phase III: January 28, 2025

The event then ends on February 9, 2025. To participate, you must be over Adventure Rank 20 and have completed Archon Quest Prologue: Act III. For the best experience, you should also finish the “Incandescent Ode of Resurrection’ Archon Quest, as well as the Story Quests for Hu Tao and Baizhu. Other rewards you can earn from completing in-game quests include Primogems, Crowns of Insight, and Talent Books.

Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices.
