Glitch Stars announced a new generation of English Vtubers, and it includes the existing indie performers Sunny Splosion and Mogu. The two of them are joined by Hiiragi Emuri and Nova Aokami, the latter of whom was a part of VReverie. Their debut with the company will start at 3pm PT/6pm ET on February 15, 2025.
Of the four, Emuri has been around the longest. She first debuted in 2020. Mogu followed in 2021. Both Nova and Sunny debuted in 2022. Both Mogu and Sunny returned from hiatuses recently. Sunny showed up again online first in October 2024, and Mogu followed in January 2025. Emuri has always been rather active online. In November 2024, Nova left VReverie to act as an indie.
Some of the Vtubers discussed the change following the announcement. Mogu did in a February 13, 2025 Twitch stream during which she also played Tokimeki Memorial Girl’s Side: 1st Love. Emuri also went over how the deal works both in a stream and in a separate list on social media that went over details like ownership of her IP. Nova also did a stream to explain why she joined another agency so soon after leaving VReverie.
Here’s the trailer revealing the Glitch Stars Dreamers Vtubers.
People may remember fellow indie Vtuber Mint Fantome mentioned she’d met up with Sunny, Emuri, and Mogu in the past during a stream held in December 2024.
Glitch Stars CEO THEduelLOGS also specified that Dreamers isn’t tied to another upcoming generation. Another group will be debuting tied to that.
The Glitch Stars Dreamers generation of Vtubers with Sunny Splosion, Mogu, Hiiragi Emuri, and Nova Aokami debuts at 3pm PT/6pm ET on February 15, 2025.
