Sunrise has also published a new Promotion Reel video for Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- on the Japanese official Gundam Channel on YouTube. It shows how the Mobile Suit-based clan battles take place in a parallel version of the Universal Century timeline, with Zeon officers overseeing the matches. The closing segment of this video also teases the appearance of Char Aznable in his One Year War-era attire.

The above video also features Kenshi Yonezu‘s “Plazma” as the movie’s opening theme song. The actual movie has two more songs that appear as insert songs, which are Hoshimachi Suisei‘s “Mou dou nattemo iiya” and Nomelon Nolemon’s “Midnight Reflection.”

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- is readily available to watch in Japanese theaters. However, Sunrise and Khara are also working with distributors around the world so that the movie experience for the upcoming TV anime series is not limited to just Japan. In addition to North America via GKids, the Japanese press release also confirmed cooperations with DEX for Thailand, Sugoi Co for Australia and New Zealand, and Medialink for Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.
