Hello Kitty Island Adventure Usahana Gift Guide

Usahana is one of the most beloved NPC characters you can befriend in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. That is, of course, if you meet her first. There are several steps you have to do in order to meet Usahana in the first place and that is all before knowing the right gifts to give her to raise your friendship. Here are the best gifts and how to unlock Usahana.

How to Meet Usahana

Usahana is not one of the first Sanrio villagers players meet. In fact, you have to go through a bit of effort before you can meet her. That is, if you are on iOS and Apple Arcade, at least. Unfortunately, Usahana is not available on Switch and PC at the time of writing. This is because City Town is not available just yet.

You need to reach City Town in order to meet Usahana. You can unlock City Town by doing the pretty straightforward “Ship Shape” quest. You can unlock this quest once you reach friendship rank 7 or higher with Chococat, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, Keroppi, and Badtz-maru. Usahana is the first person you’ll meet here and you’ll be able to give her gifts from here on out.

Best Gifts to Give Usahana in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Like the other Hello Kitty Island Adventure villagers, there are some gifts that are better than others for Usahana. When you first meet her, the best gift to give is Colorpillars. This is the default option all players should use to start her story quests and get to know her better. That said, there are several other options you should also give.

Here are all of the other gifts that Usahana likes in order from least valuable to the NPC to the most valuable and helpful for raising her friendship:

  • Boba (Any flavor works)
  • Dango (Again, any flavor)
  • Rainbow Beam
  • Mochi (Any flavor)
  • Colorpillar
  • Plush Pal (Any version)
  • Colorful Lamb Plush

When it comes to these gifts, my personal favorites are the Colorpillars, Mochi, and some of the easier Plush Pals to craft. Colorpillars can be bought in City Town, so they are always recommended while Mochi is pretty easy to make but it isn’t quite as valuable to Usahana as Colorpillars.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure is available right now for iOS (via Apple Arcade), Nintendo Switch, and PC.
