Hololive Vtubers Streaming Monster Hunter Wilds

Both Capcom and Cover announced that there will be a series of special streams involving certain Hololive Vtubers playing Monster Hunter Wilds. The four taking part are Ninomae Ina’nis, Koseki Bijou, Gigi Murin, and Raora Panthera. Things start at 4:30pm PT/7:30pm ET on February 28, 2025. A “special announcement” is also being teased for it.

The announcement confirmed that the four of them will be playing the game together. Both the Capcom and Cover reveals referred to the quarter as a “group of hunters.” This means you can watch the adventure from any of their perspectives. It is unknown if the performers will be “in character” as they play the game. On each person’s stream description, there’s a message that states, “Palico accessories were designed and created with permission from Capcom USA.” This suggests the Vtubers could be dressed as Felynes. While nobody has revealed their weapons, Bijou’s placeholder image for the stream shows her with a Long Sword, Raora with a Switch Axe, Ina with a Hunting Horn, and Gigi with Dual Blades.

The placeholders for all four streams are already live, for those of us who may want to set up notifications. Here’s where you can see each Vtuber’s perspective:

There’s also a special hashtag for the promotion on social media, which is #WildsxholoEN.

While not part of the official promotion, other Cover Hololive and Holostars Vtubers seem to also be streaming Monster Hunter Wilds. For example, Tempus member Regis Altare started his journey into the Forbidden Lands immediately after the game went live on February 28, 2025. You can see that stream below:

Monster Hunter Wilds is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the Hololive EN streams will begin at 4:30pm PT/7:30pm ET on February 28, 2025.
