Honda Teases Pokemon Koraidon Appearance in Real Life

Koraidon has been known to have motorcycle-like forms with its Sprinting, Swimming, and Gliding Builds. The teaser video appears to show the re-enactment in Koraidon’s Swimming Build, as it has its legs down to support the bike’s balance during display. In the teaser video’s description, Honda added that it will incorporate its cutting-edge technology into this project.

The new teaser video is available to watch right below:

Honda’s Koraidon project will appear as a direct rival to Toyota, which has been producing a real-life replica of Pokemon Violet‘s legendary mascot, Miraidon. By March 2024, Toyota had revealed its Miraidon re-enactment in its quadrupedal Low-Power Mode and the motorcycle-like Drive Mode. However, Toyota is nowadays known mostly as a car manufacturer—although it used to have a motorcycle subsidiary called Toyo Motors in the 1950s—while Honda is better known for releasing both cars and motorcycles.

Honda will formally reveal its Koraidon re-enactment project at the Honda Welcome Plaza Aoyama in Tokyo, Japan, on March 7, 2025. Koraidon and Miraidon can be found in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet on the Nintendo Switch.
