Morinaga Chocolate revealed a new collaboration event between its chocolate bar brand DARS and HoYoverse’s Honkai: Star Rail. The Japanese company is gradually holding multiple campaigns that reward merchandise featuring six characters from the globally popular Chinese game. The characters in question will be March 7th, Kafka, Ruan Mei, Dan Heng, Jing Yuan, and Argenti.
The first campaign that has immediately launched features the social media X, which is still widely used by Japanese companies. People residing in Japan can follow the @MorinagaChoco account and repost or quote the specified tweets by March 3, 2025, to get a free desktop PC wallpaper. Doing so will also let them enter a sweepstake that rewards 10,000 yen worth of QUO Card Pay to three winners.
On March 3, 2025, select stores in Japan will start distributing a bonus clear file featuring one of the six characters for every three DARS chocolate bars purchased, while supplies last. Morinaga will also launch separate sweepstakes featuring the same products on March 4-31, 2025. Receipts showing multiple purchases of the products made in the specified period will let people earn six smartphone character wallpapers with an additional chance for 500 winners to get a crossover-branded 500 yen QUO card and 250 winners to obtain one of the six character-branded flat pouches.
The primary highlights will appear on March 11, 2025, when Morinaga releases grape-flavored DARS chocolate bars with packages featuring Honkai: Star Rail characters at Seven Eleven outlets across Japan. Each of these packages will include a serial code that lets players obtain actual in-game items. Receipts containing these new products will also be eligible for the sweepstakes that run on March 4-31, 2025.
As a side note, serial codes for Honkai: Star Rail do not only appear in the crossover merchandise. There are many other serial codes available for the game, including the new ones revealed at the Version 3.1 stream in mid-February 2025, although most of them have expiry dates.
Inputting these codes will let players get bonuses in Honkai: Star Rail, which is available worldwide on PC, Android, iOS, and PlayStation 5.
