The Hololive Vtuber Hoshimachi Suisei’s song that appeared in the Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- movie will also become the ending theme of the regular TV show. Sunrise and Khara announced the confirmation on the anime title’s Japanese official social media account.
The song’s title in Japanese is “Mou dou nattemo iiya,” and its official English title is “I don’t care.” The same song originally appeared as an insert song in the middle of the Beginning movie edition. Cover has since published the short movie version of the song on YouTube and music streaming platforms including Spotify.
As an official ending theme song, the Hoshimachi Suisei song will complement Kenshi Yonezu’s “Plazma,” which has become the opening theme song for the regular TV run of Gundam GQuuuuuuX. However, those two are not the only pop songs that have been featured in the anime show. The movie also featured Nomelon Nolemon’s “Midnight Reflection” as another insert song, but it remains to be seen whether the latter will also appear in the regular TV run or not.
Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX will launch on Japanese television channels on April 9, 2025, past midnight JST. Prime Video will exclusively upload the earliest streams of the episodes soon after the Japanese premiere. The episodes will also appear on other streaming platforms like Netflix and Disney+ two days later.
