How to Access DLC in Tales of Graces f Remastered

Tales of Graces f Remastered includes DLC and extra content from the previous versions of the game, barring licensed content like the Hatsune Miku outfit for Sophie or the Code Geass costumes. While Bandai Namco didn’t provide details on how to access this DLC, it’s actually quite simple once you know what you need to do.

Where to find DLC in Tales of Graces f Remastered

In order to access and install the DLC that you have for the game, you need to go to the very final tab of the Items menu. From here, you’ll see a whole list of all the DLC you have, including the DLC skits. Anything in the menu that’s grayed out is something that you already unlocked via the Grade Shop. To get these items, you simply need to claim them from this items menu. It’s the same process for playing the skits.

As a reminder, DLC costumes are the same as normal ones. Claiming them isn’t enough. You need to actually equip the title and level it up enough to unlock the costume in question.

How to change battle music in Tales of Graces f Remastered

One of the DLC contains a battle music pack, in which you can swap the battle music in the game for one from a previous title. If you want to use a particular game’s soundtrack, or you don’t want to listen to specific tracks, you can access this via the Options. Scroll down until you see Battle Music Settings and Battle Music Playlist. From the playlist, you can choose which tracks you want to hear in combat.

As a note, though, some of the DLC outfits like the school uniforms ones will change the combat music when you equip them. The Tales outfits also play tracks that aren’t in the battle music playlist. If you’re hearing music that you didn’t set in your playlist, check to make sure your party members aren’t wearing a costume that can change the battle theme.

While the original Tales of Graces f came out in 2010, the Remastered version of the game includes tracks from games that didn’t exist back then. In chronological order, here are all the games and tracks included in the Battle BGM DLC pack:
