Hello Kitty Island Adventure is finally available on other platforms, including Nintendo Switch and PC. One of the intriguing parts of these ports is the ability to buy the Deluxe Edition. The Hello Kitty Island Adventure Deluxe Edition comes with some impressive DLC, including the latest content, items, and crafting that you have to go through some steps to unlock.
How to Get the Deluxe Edition DLC in Hello Kitty Island Adventure
The Deluxe Edition DLC is divided up into three main parts: the Starter Bundle, Deluxe Crafting Bundle, and Deluxe Event Bundle. Your goal is to get all three of these to enjoy all of the various items that are part of the Deluxe Edition. Oddly enough, you don’t get these items immediately after playing. Instead, you have to unlock them.
The three bundles are unlocked via three main story quests. To get the Deluxe Starter Bundle, you need to start by talking with My Melody and completing her early quests to claim the starting supplies. This part is pretty easy. From there, you need to speak with Chococat and complete the quest “Reboot the Robots” to get the Deluxe Crafting Bundle.
Finally, you need to speak with Tuxedosam and complete the quests “Fish Noir” and “Comic Relief” to get the Deluxe Event Bundle.
Is the Deluxe Edition Worth It?
The question some players may have is whether or not this version of Hello Kitty Island Adventure is worth picking up over the standard edition. What is worth mentioning is that there are two years of events that PC and Switch players miss out on from the iOS version. That said, this port includes all of those event items.
However, the problem is standard players have to work much harder to get those past event items. On the other hand, Deluxe is more upfront with those items from the start. However, Deluxe is worth it for more than just that. You also get some exclusive resources and items like the Friendship Blossoms, which are a must for giving gifts to villagers. If you can get Deluxe, I do recommend it.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure is available right now for iOS (via Apple Arcade), Nintendo Switch, and PC.
