How to Catch Hello Kitty Island Adventure Colorpillar

There are many different types of bugs you are able to catch in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Many of these can be used for crafting various items, while others can be used to boost your friendship rank with certain NPCs. The latter is especially the case for the Colorpillar, which you can catch in Hello Kitty Island Adventure in one specific location.

How to Catch Colorpillar in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

As always with a bug critter like this one, you can catch it using the bug net. However, the twist this time around is you need to have a certain place unlocked. You need to be able to go to City Town in order to find Colorpillars. Once you get here, you are able to find Colorpillars in a variety of places.

As you may know, it often rains in City Town. Thankfully, Colorpillars appear all throughout the day and no matter what the weather type is. There are three main spots you should look for them: the City Center Plaza, near the City Critter Park, and near the Imagination Cafe. They are plentiful in these areas every day after the reset.

How to Visit City Town in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Of course, you can’t catch Colorpillar in Hello Kitty Island Adventure if you don’t have City Town unlocked. To reach this later game area, there are several prerequisites you must first meet. First of all, you need to reach a friendship level of 7 or higher with a whopping five different characters: Kuromi, Keroppi, Badtz-maru, Cinnamoroll, and Chococat.

Once you have those friendship levels, you can do the “Ship Shape” quest. This will lead you to City Town where you will meet new characters like Usahana and the like. Once you are here, you will then be able to look around the metropolis for Colorpillars to catch for crafting recipes and the like.
