Valheim: The Bog Witch introduces a brand-new mechanic sure to satiate you and all of your wandering pals. The Feast mechanic allows you to cook large meals that can be shared among several people, granting significant buffs and lasting longer than typical meals. Grab your friends and treat them to a hearty supper as we explain how to cook Feasts in Valheim.
Where to Get a Serving Tray in Valheim
Before you can impress your friends with your culinary expertise, you’ll need a Serving Tray to help carry your Feasts. After all, you can’t expect to hold a boiling cauldron of stew with your bare hands.
The Serving Tray can be purchased for 140 Gold from the newest NPC Trader, the Bog Witch.
Like other Traders in Valheim, the Bog Witch’s exact location is randomly chosen in your world. However, she is always found within Swamp biomes. If you’re unable to find her in your world, you can use a third-party website like Valheim Traders Finder and upload your world.db file to get a hint about her general location.
How to Cook Feasts in Valheim
To cook Feasts in Valheim, you must craft and use a Food Preparation Table, which requires:

Plains Pie Picnic
Swamp Dweller’s Delight
How to Place Feasts in Valheim
Once you’ve cooked a Feast in Valheim, place your Serving Tray on your hotbar and equip it. Open the build menu (Mouse 2 on PC) and select your desired Feast from the next window. Your Feast can be placed on most surfaces, including the ground outside. But don’t be an animal; put it on a table like a civilized Viking.
Once placed, you and your friends can indulge in a freshly cooked meal by interacting with the Feast. The number of uses remaining will be shown when the Feast is highlighted.
Valheim is available on Steam, Xbox Series One, and Xbox Series X|S.
