How to Display Clothes in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you collect a fairly large amount of various clothing items. Clothing can be a reward for completing quests, becoming closer friends with island residents, or purchased from Tuxedosam’s clothing store. In a short amount of time, you’re bound to have more clothing items than you know what to do with. Island Adventure has a solution. With a little know-how, you can display your favorite or most valuable pieces of clothing. This is great for meeting the needs of potential island visitors, who prefer to have certain types of clothing available in their cabins, or to impress your friends when they visit you in multiplayer. Here’s how to display clothes in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

How to Display Clothes in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

You can display clothes in Hello Kitty Island Adventure very early-on, and it requires little to do. To begin, raise your friendship with Tuxedosam to Level 1. This will activate his “Standing Up” quest. Tuxedosam will ask you to look around the resort for his three Clothing Stands. All three Clothing Stands will be strewn about near the center of the Resort Plaza area, and are hard to miss. They’re wooden mannequins vaguely shaped like your player character. After you find the stands, return to Tuxedosam and hand them over. Doing so will unlock the clothing store, and give you the crafting plans for your very own Clothing Stands.

You need five Sticks to craft a Clothing Stand. You can place them in any Visitor Cabin. First, open the furnishing menu when inside a visitor cabin, select the Clothing Stand, and place it wherever you’d like. After doing so, exit the furnishing menu, walk up to the stand, and interact with it. This will open a separate menu where you can select an article of clothing from your inventory to put on the Clothing Stand. Make your selection, and the Clothing Stand will not be proudly displaying your clothes!

However, Clothing Stands are severely limited in functionality. They can only display one article of clothing at a time. You can’t display multiple pieces let alone an entire outfit on a single Clothing Stand. Certain island visitors may require you to display multiple articles of clothing within a single visitor cabin. To achieve this, you’ll need to create a Clothing Stand for every piece you want to display. In addition, displaying an article of clothing removes it from your inventory. This means clothing that grants you specific abilities, such as the Scale Mermaid Tail, will become inaccessible. In order to retrieve your clothing, you just have to interact with the Clothing Stand, pull up the menu, and select the “X” icon from the list of available options. This undresses the Clothing Stand and returns your clothing to your inventory.

Finally, you’re going to run out of sticks pretty fast if you plan on crafting multiple Clothing Stands for your cabins.
