Civilization VII has several main victory conditions players can use to beat their opponents, be it real players or the computer. One of the four key attribute ways to win is through the Culture Victory in Civilization VII. Here’s what you need to know how to achieve a Civ VII Culture Victory and how it plays into the three different Ages.
Civilization VII Culture Legacy Paths, Explained
There are three main Culture Legacy paths, one for each Age. While optional outside of the Modern Age Legacy Path, they grant bonuses and points that help you get a Culture Victory.
Here is the Legacy Path requirements you will want to strive for in the Age of Antiquity:
- Create or Find 2 Wonders: Get 1 Legacy point
- 4 Wonders: Get 1 Legacy point and +1 Culture and Happiness for Wonders in the Age of Exploration
- 7 Wonders: Get 1 Legacy point and keep buffs for Amphitheatres in the Age of Exploration
Then there is yet another Culture Legacy Path in the Age of Exploration for you to do:
- Find 6 Relics (Must put them on display in a Temple): Get 1 Legacy point
- 9 Relics: Get 1 Legacy point and +2 Culture for each Relic in the Modern Age
- 12 Relics: Get 1 Legacy point and Settlements with your religion keep bonuses in the Modern Age
How to Get the Civ VII Culture Victory
Once you reach the Modern Age in Civ VII, you are able to complete the final Legacy Path, which is essential for the Culture Victory. Here are all of the requirements you must meet for the Modern Culture Legacy Path:
- Find 5 Artifacts (and display it in a Museum): Get 1 Legacy Point
- 10 Artifacts: Get 1 Legacy point
- 15 Artifacts: Get 1 Legacy point and the World’s Fair Wonder Project
The World’s Fair Wonder project is the only way to get the Culture Victory. Once you get at least 15 Artifacts using Explorers and the like and display them in a Museum, you will want to build the World’s Fair. Doing this will instantly win you the game using a Culture Victory Condition.
