How to Get and Place Infinity Nikki Flower Lanterns

Many games have a photo mode, but Infinity Nikki cleverly utilises this feature to complement the fashion elements. You can use your outfits and the environment around you to create some truly breathtaking photos. In the latest update to Infinity Nikki, travellers from the Linglang Empire have come to Florawish to celebrate the New Bloom Festival. One of these travellers sells Flower Lanterns, a beautiful decorative item you can use as a prop for photos. But where can you purchase these scenic lanterns? We’ll answer that question and more in this guide.

Where Can I Get Flower Lanterns in Infinity Nikki?

You can purchase the Flower Lanterns from a traveller called Zhou Hau, near the whim tangram puzzles. The quickest way to get there is to fast-travel outside the Mayor’s Residence in Florawish. Once there, head southwest until you see a ship docked by the seaside. Go on the runway that connects the boat to the land, and to the right-hand side, you will find Zhou Hua. Here is the exact location where you can purchase the Flower Lanterns on the map.

How Do I Use Flower Lanterns in Infinity Nikki?

It’s important to note that these meticulously crafted lanterns can only be placed in the water, not on the ground. When you have put a lantern down, it will disappear after a short period and will not return to your inventory, meaning they are a one-time-use item.

To equip a Flower Lantern, enter the Pear-Pal tablet and go into the “Backpack” app. You will then want to head to the last subsection, “Backpack: Creative Items”. You should see all the decoration(s) in your inventory, including the Flower Lanterns. Highlight the Flower Lantern, and press square to attach it to your equipment.

To put a Flower Lantern in the water, press down on the d-pad, and you should now have the option to set it. When you are happy with its location, press the X button to drop it. Once a lantern has been placed, you cannot re-pick it up, but you may be able to nudge it by using Nikki, depending on how far out in the water it is.

We recommend buying several Flower Lanterns and using multiple to encapsulate the scenic atmosphere you are trying to create. If you wait until the evening hours, the candlelight will shine through the silk of the lantern, causing it to illuminate, so you may want to consider trying to take some snapshots at night.
