How to Get Divorced in Stardew Valley

Yes, it is actually possible to get a divorce in this particular farming sim title. What you want to do is first go to Mayor Lewis’ house. You can find his house in the southeastern corner of the town. Once you arrive here, you then want to enter the house and there will be two books in front of you straight ahead. You want to interact with the book on the right.

This is the book that allows you to file for divorce from your spouse. This way, you can remarry and find someone else to be with or just live that single life. However, there is a catch when it comes to getting divorced. You must pay a whopping 50,000g to get divorced. It is pricey but you will likely have plenty of money by the time you get married anyways.

Can You Reverse a Divorce?

The trick about the divorce situation is it is not immediate in Stardew Valley. As such, you might be wondering if there is a way to reverse a divorce and stop it from happening. Thankfully, this is the case. This is because you are simply filing for divorce and the actual action doesn’t happen immediately.

You have until the end of the current day you are playing to reverse the divorce. As before, you will want to interact with the same book and choose to stop the divorce process. Again, though, you only have until the end of the same day you file in the first place. Once this day is over, the divorce is final.

Stardew Valley is available right now for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
