How to Get Rainbow Beams in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Before you can ever get Rainbow Beams, it is essential that you are in City Town or have it unlocked. Once you have City Town unlocked, the goal is to find moments when it is raining there. While the rain is happening and after the fact, Rainbow Beams will appear all throughout City Town for you to pick up.

To get rain to appear in the first place, you need to complete the “Rain or Shine” quest from Chococat. You must also complete the “Renovation Imagination” quest when you meet Usahana. Doing these will let you complete the “Rainbow or Bust” quest from Cinnnamoroll. Completing this will allow rain to appear. You can get three Rainbow Beams daily after the reset alongside three more Rainbow Beams for every time it rains in City Town.

How to Use Rainbow Beams

Rainbow Beams are very much tricky to get in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Thankfully, the efforts are worth it, as they are quite useful. You can use Rainbow Beams in a couple of different ways, including giving it as a gift to characters like Usahana. This is one of her favorite gifts and will rank up her friendship quite quickly.

The other main use for Rainbow Beams is trading for items. You can use it as a currency of sorts to trade for furniture at My Melody’s store, clothing from Tuxedosam’s shop, and gathering dye from the Recycle Plant. It is also used in a couple of different crafting recipes like the Colorful Lamb Plush.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure is available right now for iOS (via Apple Arcade), Nintendo Switch, and PC.
