Hello Kitty Island Adventure is an adorable daily-life simulation set on a resort island. Similar to games like Animal Crossing, players can become friends with island residents, decorate their homes with various pieces of furniture, and collect items that respawn once every real-world day. Item collection is the first and last step to making progress in Island Adventure. Crafting gifts for Sanrio’s colorful cast of characters helps unlock quests that open new areas to explore. Furthermore, many of these quests require you to craft specific items using the host of materials you collect every day. However, there’s only so many items in a day to collect! For players who don’t want to wait for the daily reset, there’s always the coveted Island Bouquet. This item respawns collectable items instantly! Keep reading to learn how to get Island Bouquets in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, and how to use them efficiently.
How to Get Island Bouquets in Hello Kitty Island Adventure
The easiest way to get Island Bouquets in Hello Kitty Island Adventure is to be patient. Island Bouquets are given to the player once every Sunday as part of the Daily Rewards check-in. All you need to do is load your save file at any time on a Sunday. My Melody will greet you, and hand over an Island Bouquet as a thank-you for playing the game. Be aware of your specific timezone when loading the game. Different regions of the world have their daily reset at varying times in the day. Check our guide on When the Day Resets in Hello Kitty Island Adventure to learn more about when you should be checking-in to avoid missing your daily rewards!
As of the Steam launch of Hello Kitty Island Adventure, the game now has a few chests placed in various locations around the island containing Island Bouquets. One of these can be found in Merry Meadows, a hidden area you can only access after progressing through some of Island Adventure’s central quests. You can read our guide on How to Unlock and Visit Merry Meadow in Hello Kitty Island Adventure for more information. The chest is located just next to Visitor Cabin number one in this area. From the entrance to the meadow, follow the path all the way North and to the left. The chest is to the left of the cabin. An additional chest is located on the surface of the Rainbow Reef, just left of the Sunken Ship. Look for three floating crates. The chest will be sitting atop the largest one.
The next chest is in the Red Hot Ruins dungeon. This area is only accessible after starting the “Enraging Ruins” quest. The chest is in an optional room towards the end, so it’s best to complete the quest before looking for it. This will help you unlock the fast travel point at the top of the ruins, and work your way backwards through a shorter path. In front of the fast travel point are two entrances. Take the one on the right. In this room, take the door to the West. From here, you can walk across the puzzle and through the other door towards the East. Hastily make your way across the collapsible floor in this room to the opposite end. The chest will be next to the door there. If you’re unsure of which room you’re in, use the picture above to confirm you’re in the right place.
How to Use Island Bouquets in Hello Kitty Island Adventure
Once you have your Island Bouquet, using it is simple. Open up your inventory and move over to the second tab. Navigate to the Island Bouquet and select it. You will be asked to confirm your selection, and receive a message informing you that all items will reappear. Select yes, and you’re done! There is no special confirmation that the Island Bouquet has done its job. Simply go to an area you’ve already picked everything up in to verify that the Bouquet worked. Items you’ve already collected that day will respawn around the island, allowing you to collect another day’s worth of materials!
The Island Bouquet is a highly valuable item, and should be used sparingly to avoid being wasteful. Using it resets the spawns for all items- whether they’ve been collected or not. In addition, the bouquet will not spawn more of an item than the daily limit for that item will allow. For example, if only nine Pineapples spawn on any given day, and the player has only collected three of them, using an Island Bouquet will spawn another nine Pineapples, but remove the six that haven’t been collected yet. Therefore, the best practice for using Island Bouquets is to collect all or as many items on the island as you can beforehand. This allows you to collect a full day’s worth of items before using the Bouquet, and then get another full day’s worth of items after using it.
Finally, except for a few exceptions such as developer gifts for special events, you can only have up to three Island Bouquets at any given time. If you don’t have space in your inventory for My Melody’s Sunday reward, she won’t give it to you. If you have the maximum number of Bouquets, it’s best to use them before Sunday rolls around. Most importantly, Island Bouquets don’t respawn event items, such as the “Hugs & Hearts” event’s Lovebugs, or the “Luck & Lanterns” event’s Lucky Envelopes. Don’t waste them on trying to progress through events.
Have fun respawning those items!
