How to Get Remembrance Trailblazer in Honkai: Star Rail

In Version 3.0 of Honkai: Star Rail, the Trailblazer awakens to a new Type and Path: Ice and Remembrance. You can get this unit for free (meaning you’ll have a Remembrance unit no matter if you pull for characters like Aglaea or not) by playing through the story.

How to unlock Remembrance Trailblazer in Honkai: Star Rail

As mentioned earlier, you receive the Remembrance Trailblazer as you play through the “Paean of Era Nova” Trailblaze Quest in Honkai: Star Rail. It takes a while to get there, though, as you have to get to “Night Veil, Shroud the Silent Past” before you do so. This is when you visit the “Abyss of Fate” Janusopolis.

If you cut out exploration or side quests, and you simply rush the main story, it should take around two or three hours. This also depends on if you have a hard time in combat, or if you let all the voice lines play to completion.

After getting Remembrance Trailblazer, you can switch their Path like you did for their previous ones. You can find the “Switch” option in their character details. Switching Paths will keep the Trailblazer’s Light Cones and Relics, so you don’t need to swap anything around every time you want to use them for something else.

How is Remembrance Trailblazer as a unit?

Okay, you have Remembrance Trailblazer now. How are they as a unit? Like with previous versions of the unit, they’re surprisingly good for the protagonist of a gacha game. Remembrance Trailblazer is a support unit who can do the following:

• Deal Ice DMG to all enemies with Mem
• Increases an ally’s Crit Rate, advances forward their action, and lets them deal True DMG
• Increases all allies’ Crit DMG

Most of Remembrance Trailblazer’s worth on a team comes from the Memosprite, Mem. They work best on team comps like hyper-carry, since only one ally can receive Mem’s full benefits. As a note, the True DMG multiplier scales off the target ally’s Max Energy. So Remembrance Trailblazer works best with characters like Argenti, Yunli, and The Herta. This is because these characters have high Max Energy. Conversely, they might not work too well with units like Feixiao and Acheron, as they use another method to charge their Ultimates.
