How to Get the Free FFXIV Pose of the Unbound Emote

Final Fantasy XIV just dropped Patch 7.16, including plenty of new content for players to enjoy in between Main Scenario patches. This includes some free rewards in FFXIV like the incredible JoJo-inspired Pose of the Unbound emote. But, of course, you have to unlock this emote before you can start bending over backwards like Jonathan Joestar.

How to Unlock the Free Pose of the Unbound JoJo-Style Emote in FFXIV

The Pose of the Unbound is most definitely inspired by JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, so it is certainly one that fans of that beloved manga and anime series will not want to miss out on. Thankfully, this is not a situation, unlike most of the excellent emotes in this MMO, where you don’t have to resort to buying it on the Mogstation to get it.

Fortunately, you can unlock the Pose of the Unbound emote in FFXIV for free. All you need to do is complete a specific side quest and you’ll be able to earn it as a reward. That side quest is none other than the level 100 quest Imposing Views. Unfortunately, unlocking this quest is easier said than done.

How to Unlock the Imposing Views FFXIV Quest

There are a lot of prerequisites you must first meet before you can do the Imposing Views quest in FFXIV. Imposing Views is one of the culmination quests that you find at the end of the role quests line in Dawntrail. You need to complete every single other role’s quests first. Those quests include the following required ones:

• Dawntrail MSQ
• Dreams of a New Day
• A Hunter True
• The Mightiest Shield
• Heroes and Pretenders
• An Antidote for Anarchy

Yes, this means you need a level 100 job for all five roles. This means a level 100 tank, healer, physical melee DPS, physical ranged DPS, and ranged magical DPS. Once you do all of those, you will get the quest Picking Up the Torch. This unlocks Imposing Views after. You can start and complete this otherwise simple quest by speaking with the Unbound Agent in Ul’dah at X: 12.3, Y: 11.3. It is fairly straightforward to do and completion will earn you Pose of the Unbound.
