How to get the Timely Buzzbee mount in World of Warcraft

The Timely Buzzbee is a reward for completing the “Master of the Turbulent Timeways II” Achievement. To earn this Achievement, you must gain the “Mastery of Timeways” buff for five weeks during the Turbulent Timeways event.

The Turbulent Timeways event is active in World of Warcraft from January 7 to February 18, 2025. That’s a total of seven weeks, allowing you to miss two weeks of buffs.

How to get the Mastery of Timeways buff

Completing a Timewalking Dungeon during Turbulent Timeways awards you the “Knowledge of the Timeways” buff for two hours. Each time you complete a Timewalking Dungeon with the buff active, it gains a stack, becoming the “Mastery of Timeways” buff after four stacks.

Simply put, complete four Timewalking Dungeons without letting the Knowledge of Timeways buff expire to get the Knowledge of the Timeways buff.

Knowledge of Timeways increases experience gained from killing monsters and completing quests by 5%, while Mastery of Timeways increases this to 30%.

How to get the Master of the Turbulent Timeways II Achievement

“Master of the Turbulent Timeways II” is earned by gaining the Mastery of Timeways buff during five separate weeks. For reference, the weekly reset is Tuesday in North American realms and Wednesday in Europe.

The Achievement is account-wide, meaning you can use multiple characters to earn the Timely Buzzbee. Since there’s an experience buff throughout the event, this makes it a fantastic way to level those alts you’ve been neglecting.

The most time-efficient method of earning the Achievement is to gain the buff on an alt during the first week and run one Timewalking Dungeon per week to refresh the buff. This means not logging in to that character at any other time, as they’ll lose the buff after a few hours.

What is Turbulent Timeways?

Turbulent Timeways is a seven-week-long event featuring back-to-back Timewalking. Each week, a different expansion from WoW‘s past is featured, allowing you to queue for Timewalking dungeons and purchase items from a respective expansion’s vendor.

In addition, a weekly quest to run 5 Timewalking Dungeons awards the Cache of Nerubian Treasures containing items level 610-619 instead of the usual 597-606. There’s also the Timely Buzzbee to earn, of course!

Turbulent Timeways 2025 Schedule

Is Timely Buzzbee a limited-time mount in WoW?

Currently, Timely Buzzbee is only available through the Master of the Turbulent Timeways II Achievement. There’s nothing to suggest it will stay exclusive, however, considering the 2024 mount reward is now available for Timewarped Badges.
