How to Open the Gloomy Cavern in Infinity Nikki

When you first arrive on the Firework Isles in Infinity Nikki, the Gloomy Cavern will be inaccessible to you as a gigantic rock will be blocking the entrance. You can only open the gate once you have reached a specific point in the storyline. In this guide for Infinity Nikki, we will explain how you can open up the entrance so you can dive into the depths of the Gloomy Cavern.

How Do I Open the Gloomy Cavern in Infinity Nikki?

Before attempting to open the door to the Gloomy Cavern, you must reach the “Showdown! The Gloomy Cavern!” quest in the first chapter of the Firework Isles. This quest occurs right after Marques Jr has pulled the Holy Sword from the Stone Pillar Ruins. If you have not encountered this yet, continue playing through the Firework Isles storyline at your own pace, as it’s a delightful mystery with many twists and turns.

When the quest begins, you will want to head outside the entrance of the Gloomy Cavern. Momo will then notice a drawing on the stone tablet, which outlines where the fireworks are. If you ignite all three fireworks, the door will open, granting you access to the cavern and allowing you to continue the story.

Where Can I Find the Fireworks in Infinity Nikki?

Luckily, you do not need to use any items to ignite the fireworks. All you have to do is use the firework ability tied up with the Fiery Glow outfit. Remember, to change the ability you have equipped, open up the ability shortcut wheel by holding L2 and select the outfit you wish to have on. When you are ready to detonate the firework in question, press the square button while standing by it.

It’s hard to miss the first firework as it’s outside the Gloomy Cavern on the stone panel.

Location #2

In our opinion, the second firework is the hardest one to find. The elusive firework is at the Crescent Moon Ruins, located north on the Firework Isles map. As the location is relatively high up, we recommend approaching it from the southwest angle.

Location #3

The final firework is located on the southwest of the map, in the Flaming Forest. Head to the Whimcycle Rental and keep heading left, and you’ll eventually come across it. You will probably need to purify a few enemies lurking around the area before you can interact with the firework.

The gate will open when all the fireworks have exploded in the air. You should now be able to proceed into the Gloomy Cavern for the showdown.
