How to Recruit Anita in Suikoden 2

Anita is one of 108 recruitable Stars of Destiny in Suikoden 2, and you’ll need to recruit her to achieve the 108 Star ending. Here are each of the ways you can recruit Anita to join your noble cause.

There are two ways to recruit Anita in Suikoden 2. If you are far enough in the game that you’ve already recruited Valeria, you can simply talk to Antia in Banner Town to recruit her. If not, keep reading!

Before you begin your mission to recruit Anita, make sure you have some Antitoxin in your inventory. If you don’t have any, you can purchase some for 200 potch at any item Store. Head to Muse and speak to Anita at the inn. Depending on your progress, Anita may be in Banner Town instead.

Anita will give you a new task each time you exit the town to the overworld and re-enter. Once you complete all three tasks, Anita will join your army! Note that the task you receive is random, and tasks may repeat.

How to complete Anita’s tasks in Suikoden 2

One task involves pouring wine for Anita. Talk to the barkeep (Leona in Muse) and bring Anita her wine. Assuming this isn’t your third and final task, exit the town into the overworld, then return to the inn.

Another request Anita has is for some Antitoxin; simply accept her request to hand it over. If you didn’t purchase Antitoxin earlier, you can buy it from any Item Store.

The third task has you compliment Anita. When she asks you why you’re looking at her, select “It’s just that I’ve never seen one so beautiful.” Very smooth of you.

Once you have completed any three tasks, you can recruit Anita by selecting “P-Please, join us.” You can also ask her on a date, but I think you’re a little too young for that.

Anita starts at Level 16 if recruited in Muse, or at Level 40 if recruited at Banner Village. She is a S range sword user, holds a Falcon Rune, and her star is the Tenkyu Star. Once you recruit Valeria, both characters can perform a Unite Attack when in the same party.

Suikoden I and II HD Remaster Gate Run and Dunan Unification Wars is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
