This includes new places like the City Town island. This is what you should know about when it comes to unlocking City Town in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, including on Switch and PC.

Is City Town Available on Nintendo Switch and PC?

There is a huge disclaimer I need to give you before we go any further. At the time of writing, the Nintendo Switch and Steam ports of this game do not include City Town. I presume this will arrive in a later update, but it’s not available at this time. You are only able to unlock and check out City Town if you play on the original iOS version via Apple Arcade.

With that said, I presume the unlock requirements will be exactly the same for the Nintendo Switch and PC versions. So, feel free to take a look below and get a head start on what you need to do so you can unlock City Town as soon as it arrives.

How to Unlock City Town in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

You can unlock City Town in Hello Kitty Island Adventure once you complete a few required tasks. First of all, you must reach level 7 or higher friendship with the following villagers in the game: Chococat, Badtz-maru, Cinnamoroll, Keroppi, and Kuromi. Once you have done this, you only need to wait until a day after reaching this rank with all five to get a new quest.

The quest you need is “Ship Shape” and you can begin it by speaking with Badtz-maru at the beach. This is a pretty straightforward quest, but it does involve crafting items, gathering materials, and the like. Upon completion, you will be able to visit the sprawling metropolis that is City Town, unlock the Imagination Cafe, befriend Usahana, and more.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure is available right now for iOS (via Apple Arcade), Nintendo Switch, and PC.
