Infinity Nikki Photo Investigation: Dance the Hat Off Guide

The Wish Carnival Party has finally arrived in Infinity Nikki, and the event has brought a plethora of new quests. One of these tasks is called “Photo Investigation: Dance the Hat Off”, which involves you helping out a Faewish Sprite who has lost their hat while dancing. This guide will tell you where you can find this party hat so it can be reunited with its rightful owner.

How Do I Start the Photo Investigation: Dance the Hat Off Quest in Infinity Nikki?

Before you start this task, you will want to begin the questline for “The Feast of Chaos and Revelry”, as this will allow you to visit the Wish Carnival Party. For Nikki and Momo to discover the existence of this extravagant banquet, you will need to talk to Clemente, who is standing by the Wishing Tree in Florawish.

In this chat, Clemente will tell you that when the Revelry season arrives, the Faewish Sprites take a break from their work and allow themselves to sing and dance. However, when the Carnival Mask rises every few centuries, they hold their most important celebration of the Wish Carnival Party. When the conversation has concluded, you can go to the outside entrance of the Wishing Woods, where you will see the festivities in full swing.  

Once you arrive at the location, you will want to initiate the quest. To do this, open up the shortcut wheel by pressing L1 and go to “Events”. You should be on the “Wish Carnival Party” tab when you bring up the events page. Keep on this, head to the “The Party On” subsection and select “Party Banter”. You will now be presented with a list of tasks. Click on the “Photo Investigation: Dance the Hat Off” quest and then track it on the map. How Do I Complete the Photo Investigation: Dance the Hat Off Quest in Infinity Nikki?

Completing this task is incredibly straightforward when you know how. Initiate a chat with Palida, and they will tell you that they got involved in a dance-off and have unfortunately lost their hat. However, they took a few snapshots of the party, so they might be able to find their hat by looking at the photos. Palida then asks if you would be willing to look at the pictures to help them find their confetti party hat. You will then want to select “Let me take a look” to take a glance at the photo.

When you are shown the photo, it may not be initially apparent where the hat is, as its location is nicely tucked away. You can find the hat on the ground near the right-hand corner of the picture. Here is a screenshot of where you can find the party hat. To finish the quest, simply click on the elusive orange and white party hat.

Once you have completed the Photo Investigation: Dance the Hat Off quest, you will earn the following rewards:

• 50 Diamond
• 150 Shiny Bubbles
• 100 Thread of Purity
