Last last week, Japan saw a few new releases, most notably Falcom’s Tokyo Xanadu eX+, the enhanced PS4 version of their PS Vita action RPG, Tokyo Xanadu. Here’s the latest data from sales tracker Media Create’s weekly data for software and hardware that sold in the week of September 5 through September 11, 2016.

Yo-kai Watch 3: Sushi & Tempura versions continued with its #1 streak with 22, 992 copies sold, passing the 1.2 million mark of total sales in Japan. At #2, we had Falcom’s new title, Tokyo Xanadu eX+ with 15,069 copies sold, much lower than the 88,879 copies the original game sold on PS Vita back in October 2015.

As for other new titles, the Ubisoft-published F1 2016 made its debut and managed to start at #8 with 5,443 copies sold. Right behind it was Geten no Hana with Yumekari Aizouban, Koei Tecmo’s otome title on PS Vita, which finished at #9 with 5,309 copies sold. And finally, one more title made its debut, and it was Yuukyuu no Tierblade: Lost Chronicle, another Otomate PS Vita title from Idea Factory.

On the hardware front, things didn’t look great for any platform, with several drops in sales all across the list. On the bright side, the Xbox One almost doubled its sales compared to the week prior. This week’s sales data should certainly be more interesting to see when we get Persona 5’s numbers.
